Our Slow Fashion Brands

Meet our favourite slow fashion brands.

About Arianne is a shoe brand 100% made in Spain. They manufacture every pair of shoes in Elche (Alicante) and work at their local studio in Poblenou, Barcelona. By following no trends and respecting local craftsmanship and the environment, they produce comfortable and nice luxury shoes using the best Spanish materials. At Ele, we are excited to introduce you to their cutest vegan shoes from the upcoming SS21 collection!

Based in San Francisco, California, the team designs and produces with sustainable practices with the help of their California factories run predominantly by women.

From fabric, to screen printing, buttons, and more, they work with local vendors because they support small independent businesses and that is what keep on making them say Gah!

They believe in the power of effortless style paired with a sharp mind.

At Ele, we are so exited to introduce you to the Lisa Says Gah Holiday 2020 collection! They have partnered with the joyful Katherine Jean Plumb to bring you the perfect Holiday color palette, inspired by a mix of 70´s and 80´s pop and psychedelic shades. How cool is this??

At their Barcelona-based studio, they are dedicated to creating a unique experience, focusing on premium quality, an ethical foundation, ecological production processes, and contemporary designs. The premium cotton has extra-long fibers resulting in stronger and smoother cotton threads. This characteristic makes the fabrics become even softer and more absorbent with successive use and washing. Every single product holds the ÖkoTex100 Certificate, indicating that no harmful substances were used during the production process.

This beautiful label prides itselve on producing small sustainable runs of collections, acting against fast fashion. Producing two seasonal collections a year sets the design team at a slower pace, allowing them time to research then source sustainable fabrics and manufacturing methods. They are committed to creating quality garments, which last and can be worn season after season.

Say hi to your new favourite activewear brand!

Girlfriend Collective understands that high end fit and feel is not a matter of cost, it’s a matter of time. They proudly take the time to make sure every single one of their designs is so beautiful that you won’t cycle through it the next time you look through your closet.

Did you know almost all their synthetic activewear is made from plastic? They  just make them with materials that would otherwise clog landfills and pollute the earth.

Their recycled fabric is certified Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex, the world’s leader in testing fabrics to regulate harmful substances. Their recycled PET is polyethylene terephthalate and is used in single use water bottles and food containers. This type of plastic has been repeatedly tested over 30 years for its safety. We say if it’s safe for your sandwich, it’s safe for your legs!

Their fabric is dyed with eco-friendly dyes and the wastewater is carefully cleaned and cooled before it is released. (We even donate the dye mud to a local pavement facility where it’s recycled into sidewalks and roads.)

Every single drop of water that is used to dye the fabric gets sent to our wastewater treatment plant literally 100 feet away from the machines. It doesn’t even have time to think about escaping. There, the water gets treated to separate out their OEKO-certified safe dyes and stray fibers.

Girlfriend Collective invites you to go slow. Sustainable, slow fashion alternatives for your classic closet staples.
